ALL GRAND JURORS MUST REPORT AT 8:45AM, ON THE FIRST FLOOR, OUTSIDE OF JUDGE CASSIDY'S COURTROOM.
These instructions are for Jurors in Group #07 and Group #08
Jurors in Group #07 with Juror Numbers 0065 through 0464, as well as those Jurors who received a letter granting a postponement for Wednesday, March 12, 2014, are required to report to the Union County courthouse in Elizabeth at 8:00am, on the first floor, outside of Judge Cassidy's courtroom. Jurors who received a letter of deferment are part of Group #07. Therefore, you should carefully review your juror badge and follow the instructions relating to your group # and juror #. Please be advised that there is a difference between a postponement and deferment. You can review your letter to determine if you were postponed or deferred.
Jurors in Group #07, Jurors with Juror Numbers 0465 through 0999 have been excused and this will conclude your jury service. Please do not report.
All Jurors in Group #08 with Juror Numbers 0001 through 0999 are not needed for Wednesday, March 12, 2014. Please resume your normal routine. However, you must check back on Wednesday evening after 5pm to learn whether your services will be required for Thursday, March 13, 2014.
Jurors who are on a trial or in the midst of jury selection with a Judge must follow the Judge's instructions regarding when they are to return to the courthouse.

Parking is available at the Elizabeth Parking Authority Garage (28-56 Jefferson Avenue) located at the corner of Jefferson Avenue and Dickinson Street. Jurors, please ensure that you park on the top levels and lock your vehicle. Please bring your parking ticket in with you so that we may validate your ticket.
Please do not park in any shopper parking areas or you risk a parking ticket and/or towing expense.
