Please be aware of your employer's policy as it pertains to juror compensation, as any of the cases could last longer than a week.

General Juror reporting instructions: Our doors open at 8:00am.  For public safety reasons, you will need to be screened prior to entering. Please allow sufficient time for that process. Local newspapers, glass bottles, cans or coffee are not permitted. Arrangements for childcare, work schedules, etc. must be made prior to reporting for jury duty. Refrigerator space is available for boxed lunches no liquids permitted in the building. Free coffee is available in the jury assembly room. 


Alert to the public:

The Superior Court does not and will not telephone jurors or potential jurors and ask them to disclose personal financial information.

Emergent Closings

When inclement weather is predicted, please call our Inclement Weather line, 609-909-8050 to see if the Courts are open. The automated message will be updated with emergency closing information by 7:30 a.m. indicating a court closing or delayed opening.

All Petit Jurors

Your term of service in Mays Landing is for one trial or four days. Petit Jury trials are often one to two weeks. The trial Judge will estimate the length of each trial.
